It’s 2022, we have a new Hymer so it’s adventure time…

Having had a pretty rubbish last 12 month’s, loosing our two precious houndies, Tilly and Belle we decided to get away in the new van and we’re heading for the Jura area of France.

A late Eurotunnel crossing sees us head an hour inland and a park up at Wormhout. It’s a pretty lakeside spot we’ve stopped at before. A cosy first night, a walk by around the lake and some well needed rest.

A new day brings more Km’s SE and after a glorious riverside picnic stop watching Dippers and Damosels making the most of the crystal clear water we head off to our park up for the night.

Pesmes is a beautiful old French village with an impressive collection of old passages and tumbling alleyways perched above the Ognon river. A quiet spot next to the river and an early outing for the baguette and croissant double act sees us set for the day!
